To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Heather since July of 2003. My son Connor started at Marin Day Schools when he was 2 years old. Heather was introduced to my son when he entered the class prior to the class that Heather was teaching. She would see him in the schoolyard and in the different activities when Heather would be helping out in my son’s class. Heather was great with Connor from the very beginning. She has a natural caring and warm disposition. My son was one of the more challenging for her but she was always patient. I could see that she was determined to work with him and get him to participate in the daily activities.
In Connor’s yearbook, when asked what his favorite activities were at Marin Day Schools, he wrote Heather. I truly believe that Heather made my son’s days at school special.
After a busy day at school, Connor always came home and talked about his day and Heather was always a topic he loved to discuss. It could have been a special picture that she drew for him or some extra time spent on a particular project, Heather made my son feel special and she had a class room full of kids that she did this for. Heather is always professional with everything she sets out to do with the class. She approaches every project with the enthusiasm. She can make the simplest activities fun. Heather is a very dedicated professional and would be an asset to any educational system.
Sincerely,
Yuling Lin, RPh.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am taking genuine pleasure in writing this letter of recommendation for Heather. I’ve known Heather for a little over a year, since our son, Adi, transferred to her preschool class at
We’ve also had interaction with Heather outside of the school, as she agreed to baby-sit for both Adi and our three-year old daughter, Nella, on several occasions. We have a few different people we call on for baby-sitting, but when we ask Adi and Nella who they would like, they always sing out in unison, “Heather!”
Heather has a wonderful low-key style. I don’t think I have ever seen her “stressed-out” – even after dealing with demanding preschool children all day. I especially like the way Heather interacts with children. She gets down to their level, but she doesn’t “talk down” to them. There is no “baby-talk” with Heather (for which I am extremely thankful!). She treats the children as individuals with different needs, and she addresses those needs with respect. I always feel comfortable leaving my children with her, because I know they are happy and secure, and Heather seems to genuinely care for them, as she does for all of the children in her class.
Heather was a wonderful daily influence on my son. I hope all of the teachers my children will have in the future will have the same qualities as Heather.
Sincerely,
Mandy Munnell
